Appearance
On the surface this Garmin 1350LMT is very similar to most other series Nuvi except white on black frame. The main difference is all the thickness of the product from previous versions of Nuvi. It’s really a great improvement for many of those who use their GPS unit when the foot or perhaps store them in their jeans pocket.

Characteristics
The usual route, planning application is unchanged since the 255w which is in fact an excellent factor from the road of planning on the 255w has been extremely fast and efficient. A completely new feature to route planning software is adding the ecoRoute option. The ecoRoute option takes the fuel consumption in mind when planning a route and may actually choose a path not dictated by time or distance but rather on the use of fuel calculated. As there are always way more points of interest that allows to choose that one person could ever possibly want.

The main user interface has undergone a few small adjustments and updates to actually produce a much better user experience more than previous models. A very good addition is definitely improved touch screen gestures that allow the user to drag a finger on the screen to go from one page to another. This is really useful when using advanced individual functions which include “Lane assist”. The Lane feature help will prevent a person missing your turn to some of these intersections difficult by simply let you know in advance what lane you’ll want to be in the appropriate turn.

For us all that prefers to make use of the 1350LMT of Garmin while on foot in a metro area there were a few improvements for you as well. Routing improved market function provides additional detail map and can really highlight the position of transit stops, including bus and Metro stops. In addition, it allows you to download the schedules of bus and actual traffic flows.

The most important novelty is certainly the addition of no cost life time map and traffic updates. With these updates, you will always have more current routes, points of interest and navigation details. It is a new feature and really extends the useful life of the product while significantly reducing the total cost of ownership and significantly increase the user experience.

Bottom line
The 1350LMT of Garmin is the best balance of advanced features with an entry price level. Unless there is of course that a particular function on a model more complex than you can not live without I would recommend the 1350LMT any other supply of current Garmin. Improved features and overall thickness reduction case have really made it a fantastic product for motorists with pedestrians.

I have always been amazed by handheld GPS devices and can’t wait to get my hands on the latest models and the best whenever they come out. I think that everyone should have a GPS unit and I hope that I can help a few people decide to unit which is best for them.
